Summer at CMS
Summer at CMS is both an introduction to the Montessori environment and a continuation for those students who are enrolled in our academic year. This symbiotic mix allows children who are returning the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience, while their new friends glean the benefits.
Weekly themes provide the base from which all of our summer camp activities grow. This makes our program accessible for families who are enrolled for any length of time, from 2 to 12 weeks. Children will feel comfortable knowing the daily routine and at the same time they will look forward to new experiences that stem from our rotating units of study.
The schedule will mirror that of our academic year, although the Montessori work cycle will often be shortened so that children can enjoy more social and physical development. Our counselors and trained teachers will lead students in a combination of indoor and outdoor activities such as arts, crafts, music, creative movement, yoga, outdoor sports, and water play.
Hours and Rates
The Summer at CMS program runs weekly from June 7th to August 27th, 2010. Parents may choose any combination of weeks. Please note there is a two week minimum.
If space permits, additional weeks may be purchased as late as one week in advance at a cost of $315 (Standard Day) or $380 (Extended Day) per week.

Payment Schedule
A non-refundable deposit of one-half your summer tuition is due upon acceptance into the program. The remaining balance is due June 1st, 2010.
